This is second post on ‘Best Blogging Tips’ series. I’ll be covering the different aspects of blogging life in this series.
On the first post, we’ve talked a bit about writing blog posts. You are now equipped with the great handy tools to polish your writing!
Creating great content is never sufficient for successful blogging – promotion is equally important. Building community is one of the best and reliable method. Following I discuss some of tips to mark your presence in community.
Don’t go mad commenting every blog posts
Did you read commenting helps to build up recognition and form a solid community? You read that correct. I wish to add “don’t comment every blog posts”. Yes. Commenting is concerned not only to leave a link on that post. Rather, try to make each of your comments worthy and remarkable. I guess, it won’t be possible to write dozens and hundreds of comments a day each one a great piece that blog author appreciates. So write a few – only those where you are confident to make a worthy presence.
Blog commenting has multidimensional benefits – on one direction you get opportunity to publish your views about the topic in discussion, on another, you got a link back to your blog so as to improve traffic. Blog commenting improves your recognition and reputation.
When you go on commenting, after some times, you will find yourself known to many people and to community. Based on your past activity and performance, the community builds up a view towards you and your blog. This helps to build up and establish your brand. That’s why, take commenting a serious act of play. Don’t just get hurried and scratch everywhere your finger tips reach.
Join FaceBook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, BlogEngage, MMOSocialNetwork, FAQPal, BloggerLuv
You can suggest many others but I listed them because I am there and know the impact it can hit your blog. Without true participation on social networks you will find it hard to promote your product. I remember William “Caleb” Rodgers post No Man Is An Island, isn’t it true? You need support of a good community.
FaceBook and Twitter are best because they have the largest community and can reap the benefits if you have many friends. BlogEngage, MMOSocialNetowrk, FAQPal and BloggerLuv are great because they are the blogger’s communities. A child learns by imitating more experienced ones. Moreover, because they are well reputed networks with dofollow links back to your blog, it will help your posts indexed quicker. Two way benefits!
Follow these people
This is a real short-cut for you by following the people I mention here if your blog niche is blogging. These are the great friends I earned through these year’s participation. They are great not just because they are blogging for long and possess huge knowledge of this world, but they are equally helpful, cooperative and really inspiring. I request not to take the list in chronological order as I respect equally for each of them.
