Great entry Suresh, and I see some great points from notable people up there. Content is still the key to an efficient link building, but great content is not enough, you need to market it and also have to assure that it’s of high relevance to its targeted audience. I still believe that article marketing still has its role in this modern marketing age, we just have to utilize it well.

Its not the article marketing is dead but now the crappy content spread everywhere won’t return the favor anymore. Good content and fair marketing is never penalized.
It was ezine and now its Google with the new Panda Update. The internet is going to be more clutter free, I guess, as these updates forges ahead and bid adieu to all the low quality sites and shaddy link building practices. Its time to make some serious changes in the link building strategies. Since ‘Content is King’ I do not oppose much against spinning which has been done perfectly and better than the original but these new developments from ezine and Google are really going to bring some major improvements affecting all the Internet users.

Shame that some original content is now ranking beneath the scraped and syndicated content websites – that is strange
I have noticed only positive improvements after the so-called Panda update. It clearly seems as though this algorithm change was meant to trim down on duplicate/re-hashed content and link farming in general. A good thing, if you ask me… and long overdue!

Because the recent Google panda update I must admit that its pretty hard to understand Google. On the other hand, since we all want to succeed it is better to do our homework and that’s what I’m actually doing now by reading some post like yours in order to educate me more about the panda update. I’m just starting a website but handling some sites.

The new SEO, at least as far as Panda is concerned, is about pushing your best quality stuff and the complete removal of low-quality or overhead pages from the indexes. It may not be as easy anymore to compete by simply producing pages at scale, unless they’re created with quality in mind.

I haven’t change anything in my link building strategy and it seems that it is working. Nor that I have improved the quality of my articles, I am not native speaker, however most of my website were not affected by Panda update.

Panda update is essential targeted to content farming and low quality content. If you have original content and natural link building, there should be nothing to worry.
One of the objective of the Google panda update was to stop scammers but it had done other way…..there are many stories like scraper site being ranked high and original content site got down
